As the death toll of peacefully-protesting Oromos, killed by the Ethiopian Federal police and army, rises to more than 50, according to the latest media reports, concerned members of the Oromo Diaspora communities across the globe have announced a second round of solidarity rallies to appeal to the international community to intervene and stop the unfolding human rights violations against Oromos by the Ethiopian Federal police and army. It is to be remembered that, last week, solidarity rallies were held across the globe by the Oromo Diaspora communities as well as the wider Ethiopian Diaspora communities.
